Shark Week LIVE! Watch Party

We're makin' waves at Brewster Street Downtown again for Shark Week this year!

Join us the evening of Thursday July 11th for a fun, free, family-friendly time learning all about our favorite ocean predators! Meet and greet scientists from HRI's Center for Sportfish Science and Conservation who will show how they tag and track sharks, share about our Gulf of Mexico shark species, and will have some fun interactive shark games too. There will also be a Gulf Discovery Zone with other HRI conservation initiatives and the TAMU-CC bookstore selling limited Shark Week swag!

Discovery's Shark Week episodes will be streaming during the event, with the episode "Caught! When Sharks Attack" featuring HRI's very own Dr. Kesley Banks airing at 8pm, so be there to watch it with the star herself!

Entry is free and open to the public. Brewster Street will have a special shark-themed food and drink menu available and attendees will receive special shark swag for coming (while supplies last)! Be sure to also register to win one of three "Chum Bag" door prizes - a Yeti Camino Carryall filled with all kinds of shark goodies!
