ELAINE DE OLIVERIA, PH.D. & CAMILO BOTERO, PH.D.
INTERNATIONAL FORMATION CENTER IN BEACH MANAGEMENT AND CERTIFICATION
The presentation on the ranking of the best beaches aims to inform postgraduate students interested in gaining exceptional scientific and professional experience by becoming evaluators for the beach ranking. Initially, we will explain what the best beaches ranking is, why beach rankings are important, and their impact on the coastal tourism sector. The second part will outline the requirements to become a beach management evaluator, what the credibility index is, and the benefits for those who become beach evaluators for the 2025 ranking. These benefits include professional experience, international visibility, and the generation of academic and scientific products. At the end of the meeting, we will address any questions attendees may have about becoming an evaluator and starting this path, which includes a full scholarship for the mobile course on beach management evaluation (February 2025).
