EvaLynn (Eva) Jundt is a doctoral candidate in the Coastal and Marine System Science program at Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi. She currently in the Doctoral program and working as a research assistant and funded by the NOAA CCME Scholars program. Her research focuses on ocean acidification and its affects in the Gulf of Mexico. She works with statistics, machine learning, chemical analysis, sensors, and ocean-going research expeditions in the Gulf of Mexico and Atlantic Ocean. She has spent upwards of 5 months total working on research ships and sailed over 10,000 nautical miles. She is currently serving as the elected President of the Marine Science Graduate Student organization. Previously she earned a M.S. in Coastal and Marine System Science working on ocean acidification and modeling techniques. She earned a B.S. in aquatic biology with an emphasis on aquatic systems and conducted research on mircroplastics in the Mississippi headwaters. She also participated in the McNair Scholars Program and presented her research through the program.
