Kaitlyn Witsaman, M.A.
Kaitlyn Witsaman has spent her entire career primarily working in higher education. After earning her Master's degree in Leadership in Higher Education from Baldwin Wallace University, Kaitlyn went on to spend the majority of her career thus far at the Ohio State University working in international affairs. There, she managed global operations, cultivated international partnerships, managed international alumni relationships, and coordinated large-scale events.
In her role as Development Officer for HRI, Kaitlyn will focus on cultivating relationships with individual donors, foundations, and corporations to support the Institute's mission of advancing the long-term sustainable use and conservation of the Gulf of Mexico. She will also lead fundraising initiatives and grant management efforts. Drawn to the beauty of the Gulf Coast, she is excited to build a lasting connection with the region.
Since relocating from Ohio, Kaitlyn has embraced life in the Coastal Bend. She enjoys outdoor activities, from cycling and beach outings to adventures with her two dogs, Goldie and Winston. She currently resides in the Texas coastal town of Rockport.
