Olga Gil Barrientos

Olga Gil Barrientos is a Project Coordinator assisting with HRI's SWIMM program and other international efforts. She was born and raised in Madrid, Spain, where she worked as a mathematics teacher at the middle and high school levels. After she moved to the U.S., she spent the majority of her working career in the publishing business, where she worked as a Spanish language translator and proofreader for printed materials, but also videos and electronic publications. She joined the Harte Research Institute in September 2022 and is thrilled with the Institute's trinational focus.

Olga enjoys cooking and trying new recipes, traveling, and watching soccer.
